Kudos to Toyota!

Well good tidings on a Monday morning. I went to Toyota to have my car repaired. I got there before 8am and what I saw really made my day. The crew was singing the national anthem! The way it is meant to be sung, right hand over one’s heart.

You may not think it’s a big deal But to me it is. Our lives have become so busy making money and vexing over how stupid, arrogant, selfish, and downright criminal our politicians are, it’s so easy to forget the small stuff we do to show our affection for our country.

What is even better is that the Toyota within earshot of the singing all stopped on their tracks upon hearing the Lupang Hinirang. When you see people constantly ignoring this simple show of respect, it is refreshing that there are still places where this is practiced. And I’m more glad now to own a Toyota because its employees still respects the symbols of our country, and that, in my book, gets high marks.

Kudos to Toyota Pasong Tamo crew.
