28 Days of Frantic Pace

It all started on the last week of May. I learned I will be deployed to Cagayan de Oro for an intervention activity (which I privately baptized as Xavier's Crusade)the following week. That means I have to work double to make sure that all my current obligations are met and at the same time, next week will not fall apart just because I am not physically present at the office.

Adding to that, I have my hosting duties to attend to on the last Saturday of May, as scheduled. Good thing I often use my little free time to make sure that I replenish the Book Geek questions used the previous month. (Just in case you're wondering, it went well enough.)

Earlier that same Saturday, I met a woman who is running a school campaign on California raisins. She is getting me to host it. Wow! A professional hosting job. Alternative career? Who knows?

So, aside from being Lady Dementia, I am now also The Raisin Mama.

Come first week of June, I spent two days in CDO, studying and figuring out why things are not rosy there. Intervention was done, and hopefully, the nuggets of ideas and instructions I left will help them pull up the profile of our branches there.

June 3, I deplaned in Manila late morning and went straight to the office. Then I spent the next three days catching up. On June 6, Saturday, we had the draw of our promo. So the day before, I had to make sure that everything is set up.

This week, I had so many meetings lined up I had to re-schedule some of them just so they will not overlap. On top of that, I have to prepare my report for the execom happening at the end of the week, not to mention, Friday was a holiday, so I have to
cram 5 days worth of work into 4. Managed to do that (congratulations to myself!) but still had to come in on Friday for an additional report that must be sent that day.

Today, Saturday, I am doing my usual work-but-not-work routine. Earlier today, went to Virramall to purchase an apple green wig for the gig.I have a meeting at 2pm with the California raisin lady to finalize the school tour schedule this coming week. That means another week of double time work to make sure that I don't screw up my day job working on my side job. While waiting for her arrival, I try to address some of the other ongoing tasks I have on my plate to ease up my load within the coming week.

Then, a week from today, it's another Book Geek day. Still working on the back up questions. But the main set is done. Whew!

Tiring? Yes! Stressful? Yes! But I'm having so much fun. In the vernacular, buhay na buhay ang dugo ko!
